We meet at St Peters Church in Saltaire on the second Thursday of every month, except August. The ‘Lounge’ is open from 7:20pm, with meetings starting at 7:30pm.
April 13th – Dancing with Arbeau
The Arbeau Dancers are a group based in West Yorkshire who perform dances from the fifteenth through to the nineteenth centuries.
May 11th – Squeaky Cheese Story
Exploring the journey of Yorkshire Drama Cheese, and how this business came to be.
June 8th – Bradford City of Culture
We will be joined by members of the City of Culture team to talk about Bradford’s bid & plans for 2025.
July 13th – Art In Nature
An opportunity to get stuck in and get your (just a little!) hands dirty with this month’s craft.
September 14th – AGM & Games
Our Annual General Meeting to review the previous year, and looking forward to the next year. We will also get some games going.
Oct 12th – Foraging
A chance to learn what edible delights we can find on our doorstep.
November 9th – A Stitch in Time
Focussing on Embroidery, we will have a look the art of sewing through the ages.
November 23rd – Figgy Pudding
A traditional bonus meeting for us, as we get together to make our figgy pudding’s ready for the Christmas table.
December 14th – Winter Wreaths
We will be getting crafty and feeling festive making seasonal wreaths.
January 11th – Martial Arts
Getting active to start the year, we will be joined by some Martial Arts leaders who will show us the basics.
February 8th – Women’s Health
At this meeting we will be discussing health issues that affect women, and how we can approach these.
March 14th – Book Group Prose
One of our book groups will share pieces of literary works that have had an impact on them.
