Annual Fees
Saltaire WI membership fees for April 2025 – March 2026 are £49. This is made up of:
- £25.90 paid to the National and local WI federations.
- £23.10 kept by Saltaire WI to cover running costs & fund meetings.
Other details:
- Membership subscriptions are due in April and last until March the next year.
- Subscriptions are pro-rata’d if you join later in the year.
- You can join more than one WI and become a dual member, contact us for more details on how this works.

Members’ Benefits
- Free monthly meetings: On the very, very rare occasions when we ask for a small charge to help fund a more expensive activity, there will be an alternative free option.
- Sub-groups: a great way to make more friends within the WI.
- Social Events – we organise regular trips to the theatre, cinema, talks and local restaurants.
- West Yorkshire Federation of WIs: You will have access to the West Yorkshire Federation’s monthly newsletter and can attend a range of Federation activities and craft events.
- National Federation of WIs: You will receive the national Federation’s WI Life magazine(or opt out if you prefer). You have the option to vote on National WI campaigns and become as involved as you wish to.
Guests are Welcome
You can come along to three meetings as a guest, the charge is £6 per session.
If you have already attended three times, you may come to one meeting per year as a guest, after that you will be asked to join.
